We had a fantastic time in Kona. We ate all our meals on the lunai looking at the ocean and watching boogie boarders and surfers. The beach equipment was such an added bonus and really made beach days so much more enjoyable!! We are already talking about our return trip.

Enjoyed our stay.Great location easy walk into town for shopping and restaurants.Pool was very nice overlooking the ocean. Condo was clean and well equipped. It had plenty of beach equipment including coolers. The kitchen had everything you need if you want to cook. Management company was very communicative on how to check in, directions and check out procedures.We would stay here again.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Views were exactly as pictured. Literally a one minute walk to the pool or beach. They had community grills, pool and hot tub all with in 30 seconds of the condo. You can see people surfing from your lanai and a few second walk to the upper deck to watch unbelievable sunsets. 10 min walk to down town. Easy parking garage parking and parking lot parking, parking is included in your condo fees. Inside of condo has everything you need, even hawaiian coffee and grinder with coffee pot and macadamia cookies. This is a hidden gem!!! Property management was the most attentive company ive ever rented from. Top notch!

The unit was comfortable with great parking close to unit. There were greeting snacks with were thoughtful. Wish there had been more than 2 dishwasher soaps. Appreciated having Laundry soap and dryer softener so didn’t have to buy whole package. Had to buy sugar so would have been nice to have some packets so didn’t have to buy a whole bag of sugar for husband’s coffee. All in all was nice. Have stayed in an ocean front unit and a unit on the other side so is our 3rd stay at the Kona Reef.

We had a great stay in Kona. The apartment had everything we needed and was close to town. We walked to town everyday for food and activities. The pool and hot tub were nice too and parking was easy and convenient. The AC in the living room and bedroom were both lifesavers since it could be pretty hot and humid outside at times, and we used the washing machine and dryer too. Overall had a great vacation here!

This was our first trip to the Big Island & our Kona Reef condo was the perfect, central location to explore! Walking distance to shops/restaurants in Kailua-Kona area, just a short drive from the Kona airport, ocean front views, lovely grounds, pool area, community bbq area. Large & spacious accommodations, with a comfy king bed, all kitchen amenities AND in-unit laundry! Couldn't ask for more!

The condo complex is lovely, and located right in Kona town and right at the water's edge. The check in process was a breeze, and the condo was lovely, clean and well appointed, with beatiful views and furnished with a coastal Hawaiian feel. The management was very responsive to questions that arose during the stay. I would love to stay again!

Great location and sweet aloha spirit
We loved the property and the sound of the waves. The sleeping was wonderful with air conditioner. Close to town and beaches. Clean, easy and relaxing. Appreciated the Hawaiian furnishings and aloha spirit!

The location was great....close to downtown Kona you could walk to it but far enough away from the street noise....at night all you could hear was the ocean waves. Property was great loved having the AC in the bedroom. The chairs and umbrella were an added bonus. The place looks as it is listed, save the outdoor lanai furniture has changed. Would definitely come back to this property and this unit!!!

We returned to E22 for the second time in a year for our wedding and 2 week honeymoon and once again everything was perfect. In my opinion this unit has the BEST ocean view and pool view. It is updated with every amenity imaginable including all beach supplies, snorkel gear, etc, The kitchen was so well stocked and even had all of the spices, oils etc we needed. The air conditioning in the living room and bedroom and the incredibly comfortable king size bed are my favorite feature. We will continue to return to this unit each year. Thank you for making our honeymoon so perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our (repeat) stay at Unit E-22 at the Kona Reef. It was great sipping morning coffee on lanai and viewing bodyboarders, surfers and rolling waves caress the shoreline. Always friendly, mellow guests nearby, enjoyed the BBQ and heated pool and spa to relax in. Nice walking distance to town shops & some restaurants that lies just to north. The Kona Reef and the island of Hawaii is one of our favorite places! Mahalo!
Paradise with an ocean view

Kona Reef unit E22 was even more that I could have asked for. The video and photos really sold us with the decor, the A/C, the ocean view, king bed and all of the little upgrades. BUT when we arrived we found that parking lot AND parking garage accessability to our unit was perfect and so close! The pool was right there and took one minute to walk downstairs to the gate. The BBQ area was lovely to have a sunset dinner at that we cooked and the little beach off to the side and rocky area in front were great for beach combing. The couple of things we needed from management were handled within hours so that was wonderful too! The icing on the cake was the little roadway/alley next to Kona Reef that passes by the Royal Kona was about two blocks to Huggos and our favorite downtown area. We will definitely choose to stay in this unit again in the future OR if we bring family, one of the two bedrooms facing the water. Those looked beautiful as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We had a great stay in E - 22 at Kona Reef, I highly recommend it and will be coming back. The space was well appointed and the local decorations were beautiful & tasteful. We loved having beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach as we took several day trips to other parts of the island. We were in Kailua-Kona for a wedding of a close friend and other friends from out of town were also staying at Kona Reef, so it was perfect to relax at the pool in between wedding events and activities. We also enjoyed being walking distance to so many great restaurants such as Daylight Mind Coffee Company and Huggos. Thank you for a great stay! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved that there was AC in the unit and that we could use the beach equipment (beach chairs, towels, and umbrella). The unit was big enough, clean, and the washer/dryer was also let to have. We did use it during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We loved our stay at Kona Reef. This condo was amazing and exactly as shown. We wanted for nothing (but a shot glass, ha ha). My husband is the chef in the family and was very pleased with the kitchen and the use of the BBQ's. We loved being able to walk to town and only using the car when needed. We had a few relaxing days by the pool and never had a problem finding lounge chairs. Having the use of the washer/dryer was great. We saw turtles right in front of the complex almost every night. We were very sad to leave and are already planning our return for next year!

I stayed 18 nights in May and June at Kona Reef unit E22. The complex location was perfect for me; it takes a short time to walk to Kona Village. I used the well maintained Pool and BBQ amenities frequently. The E-22 unit had all I needed. It is perfectly equipped and very clean. After a long day outdoor activities I enjoyed watching body surfers and drinks on the Lanai. Adeline and her associates are very helpful and responded to my questions in timely fashion. I will certainly will stay there again.

We felt very comfortable spending a month in Kona Reef Condo E-22 Jan/Feb 2018. It is nicely furnished, very clean and well located in the complex, as well as in Kona. We appreciated the lovely dishes,cook ware, linens, new appliances, the efficient washer & drier, good quality furniture and comfortable king sized bed. The view from the lanai is wonderful and we will definitely plan to stay in E-22 again!
