Hale Kona Kai is a small complex of 39 absolute oceanfront condos in town, but off the beaten path! Located on a quiet side street and just a short block to the village of Kailua-Kona also known as Kona Town. Hale Kona Kai is only 1/4 block to Honl's white sand beach and 3 blocks to the Kona Farmers Market.

All condos are non-smoking. Hale Kona Kai is a non-smoking facility. Each floor has coin-operated washers and dryers for your use. Each condo does not have its own washer/dryer.

Enjoyed the condo, pool at property.The lication was excellant. Walking to all downtown Kona. Restuarant choices were abundant and diverse. The local shopping was available from trinkets to fine art.Oceanfront location will be one that we would use again in the future. Top shelf

An older property. Could have been cleaner. Can’t beat the ocean views though! Walking distance to a cute little beach and downtown Kona. Had all the amenities.

I loved our stay in unit 307. Fantastic ocean view and easy walk to downtown Kona.We did get an email when landing in Hawaii that the central AC would be out all week in the unit. In the email they offered portable AC units if we wanted them (which we did). By the time we arrived they were already set up in the unit.

Everything was clean and the hosts were very responsive.

Great condo. The view looks at the ocean partly but also directly at all the other condo balconies. So no outside privacy and limited ocean view. Everything was clean and the hosts were very responsive. Wonderful walking distance to sights, activities, and restaurants though!

This is a wonderful complex to stay in. We have been coming here for about 6 years. All the units are nice, some remodeled and upgraded more than others. This unit had everything you need without being stuffed full of items that prevent you from even storing your luggage. Beach chairs and towels, extra sheets and plenty of towels. There is a desk at this complex that has very helpful and pleasant people that will help you will just about anything. After a day out its nice just to walk to town and get something to eat.

We stayed 3 nights in unit 307. The unit was nicely and thoughtfully appointed. The kind bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. The unit was clean and very well maintained. Guests have use of boogie boards, beach chair , a set of snorkel gear, a cooler etc. Front desk clerk, Tyna, was also very helpful with any and all questions we had. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved this unit and its location to the ocean. Views from all rooms wonderful and the sound of the ocean all night long cannot be beat. The owners of this unit truly care about their guests and have gone the extra mile to show they care about the guests experience. All the little things they provide in the is unit is so appreciated! Love working with Adeline she truly cares about all her guests. We loved this location

I absolutely loved staying at Hale Kona Kai. The location is waterfront and the closest complex into the wonderful town of Kona. So, you can walk into town for dinner without having to worry about finding parking. It has everything that you could ask for, Air-conditioning, elevator, waterfront pool, barbecue and reserved parking.The condo had absolutely everything that you would want or need Including beach towels, beach chairs, and some snorkeling gear. It is a small complex which means that sometimes you have the pool to yourself. I would highly recommend Hale Kona Kai 307 to anyone coming to the big Island.

We loved our stay in 307! Had all the things we needed including beach chairs and a small cooler. Cooked breakfast everyday and drank coffee on lanai listening to waves and watching turtles.

We opened the front door and we were knocked out. There was a cruise ship parked outside our window. That doesn’t happen too often!! Apart from the ship, we overlooked the ocean. We actually felt as if we were sitting on the rocks. Beautiful. The apartment itself was great with separate bedroom and lovely kitchen with everything you would need. Location was fabulous. A very pleasant walk into town passing a couple of bars that just kept saying “come in”. Which we did. We loved everything about our stay at Hale Kona Kai. No 307 was perfect. I must also say that Adeline was fabulous too. Booking from Australia was scary but she took all the fears away. Thankyou Adeline. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return.
